CHOU is a brand I created in 2019 in Shanghai, together with my Taiwanese friend Tess. We wish to design and make objects by hands that seamlessly blend comfort with functionality, reflecting our own lifestyles. We aim to foster a profound connection between individuals, their possessions, and nature. Our ultimate goal is to not only create aesthetically pleasing items but also to pay homage to the cherished traditions of Chinese artistry. As time unfolds, we envision seamlessly weaving these timeless elements of Chinese culture into our creations, ensuring their preservation for generations to come.
